Why is it?

So, why is it that families can be the most frustrating?
You love them the most and want to see them and talk to them and be with them, but when you do talk its not always pleasant. When you do see them, they aren't doing what you want them to be doing. When you learn about what they are doing and what is important to them you wonder about them.

I just want my family to be who I want them to be. Is that too much to ask?

I am cracking up! Isn't it so true. Learning how to look at your family and say Your perfect just the way you are. . . you don't pick up your clothes, you don't finish a job, you drink milk from a milk carton. Your perfect! I love it.

How do we do that. That is the question because from what I understand learning to love the moment, no matter what is thrown at you is the secret to joy in life. . .huh? go figure, But really I think it is true.

How do you do it?

Brynna,

I once read a very insightful blog post about a wonderful family. I hope it will be helpful to you in answering the question you asked in this post:

"Families Are Forever
Our family is the best. We are all living our lives individually, but supporting and encouraging each other along the way. We love the times when we can get together and just play. Those times just don't seem to happen often enough."
